Returning to our stage this year with enigmatic style and exuberance, baritone Dana de Waal is accompanied by his wife Anne on the piano, and daughter Xephni on the Djembe. Bringing to the performance an eclectic mix of songs from down through the ages, Dana blends together the songs of Africa, and Europe, and styles as far apart as the Baroque and Modern eras, with a convincing style, flair, and panache.
Singing his own compositions and those of his wife, as well as old favourites from around the world, and weaving the songs around stories and anecdotes, Dana keeps the audience laughing and crying and thinking that they have never heard it quite like that before.
